Letter to Sepp Blatter

Dear Mr Blatter,

The 2010 World Cup is in danger of being ruined for millions of people around the world.

The culprit is the South African Vuvuzela horn and I urge you to reconsider banning this instrument from all world cup and other football tournaments as soon as possible. It is vital that the latter stages of the tournament are not spoiled for the viewing global millions by this unbearable noise.

I understand that this is part of the South African culture but the World Cup belongs to all of us. It is important that the enjoyment of the game is restored without delay otherwise these games will be remembered for all the wrong reasons.

I would like to add my voice to the calls for the Vuvuzela and varients to be banned.

And while we are at it, get your thumb out of your arse and sort out the goal line technology issue. This is no longer a debateable point but a necessary part of major tournaments. Your arguments for keeping this out of the game are just not valid.
